57m
This is a HIIT-style workout to build strength + mobility, followed by a cool-down flow to stretch the muscles and calm your nervous system. The class is designed to serve all levels of fitness experience, so whether you're a seasoned workout warrior or a beginner looking for an approachable way to start to working out, you're going to love this class!
We'll spend the first half of the class - the Strength portion - doing exercises designed to build full-body strength and improve functional mobility. We'll offer Mild, Medium, and Spicy options for every exercise, so you can tailor the workout to your level.
The Strength portion of class will be structured HIIT style - 1 minute on, 30 seconds off, for 2-3 rounds per exercise. You get to choose how fast or hard you go for your 1 minute on - again, allowing you to tailor the workout to your level!
The second half, or Flow portion of class, will also be appropriate for all levels of experience. Stretch your muscles, calm your mind, and deactivate the physiological stress response created by your workout.
Grab 2 blocks and a blanket for this practice.
